There are two groups of Women On Mission. They both meet monthly. Meetings are held the Monday after the first Sunday.

• The Day Group meets for a noon covered-dish lunch followed by the meeting. They are actively involved in ministering through The Caring Place (community food pantry/clothes closet); a flower ministry to the sick and homebound of First Baptist; the Operation Christmas Child shoe-box ministry; and leading the way in the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, the State Missions Offering, and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

         

• The Night Group meets at 7 PM. They are actively involved in monthly missions projects and a yearly banquet for the area foster parents.

Church Mission Trip

First Baptist adopted Emmanuel Baptist Church in Biloxi, Mississippi through the North American Mission Board Adopt-A-Church ministry. The church sponsored a mission trip to help Emmanuel in the winter of '06.
